February 02, 2007 – Likes it – This is a delightful place and a welcome addition to the small number of good Chinese restaurants on the Eastside. We stopped in for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. The hot and sour soup was peppery and delicious. I rarely order shrimp because they’re usually overcooked to the consistency of rubber bands, but the shrip with black bean sauce they served was excellent – with the shrimp cooked perfectly. The staff were all extremely friendly and competent, and the decor was fresh and bright. Can’t wait to go back for dinner.
